At the start of each financial year the CIPD North East of England Branch Committee agrees a formal Delivery Plan. This Plan sets out the key areas we wish to focus on in the year ahead and the events and activities the Committee has identified as supporting our key strategic drivers which are;

  • Promoting the HR&D profession in the region and raising the profile of the CIPD
  • Providing a range of CPD opportunities for CIPD members, focused on knowledge building, skills development, and career support
  • Providing opportunities for members to gain insights into modern working practices and the future of work
  • Promoting relevant campaigns related to improving work and working lives
  • Providing opportunities for members to contribute to the profession and the regional community through volunteering, enabling HR&D practitioners to support relevant organisations & charities
  • Engaging in events to gain insight in and engagement with the local community and labour market

Where can I find the details of the Branch events?
