Become a peer mentor with the North East branch

Our annual awards show us that we have some amazing HR professionals in our region, and this is a fantastic opportunity not only to make a positive difference to someone else, but you can also enhance your own mentoring skills.

We are now inviting applications for our 2021 programme, with mentoring commencing in September. The main aim is to provide a short term, targeted support to members who want to enhance their skills in a particular area. These relationships typically last up to 6 months and you will be committing your time to support a mentee based on your specialist knowledge and skills. Please apply here:

Become an Enterprise Adviser

The Enterprise Adviser programme aims to connect experienced volunteers from the world of work with teachers and senior leaders to improve the careers education that they are offering to their students. You would be acting as an adviser to the school or college's nominated senior teacher to help them develop a comprehensive strategy for their careers education, as well as to forge links with local businesses by drawing on your professional networks.
